Sunrise Association: March 2024
The Sunrise Association community includes a diverse and dedicated group of individuals whose hard work we deeply value. In March, during Child Life Month, we seize the opportunity to spotlight the dedication and commitment of the child life specialists we collaborate with. These remarkable professionals play a crucial role in transforming the lives of our campers and their families, fostering a nurturing and supportive environment for them to thrive in. On average, our 2024 campaign posts generated 327 impressions, marking a notable 10% increase compared to our regular posts.
Childhood Cancer Awareness Month 2023
Sunrise Association: September 2023
Childhood Cancer Awareness Month holds special significance for Sunrise Association, an organization dedicated to supporting children with cancer and their families. In close collaboration with the Director of Digital Marketing, we crafted and executed a comprehensive, month-long campaign for CCAM. This initiative spanned all social media accounts for each day camp as well as the Association's main accounts, successfully reaching 64,000 unique users across various platforms and amplifying our message far and wide.
SunriseWALKS 2023
Sunrise Association: March - October 2023
Annually, each Sunrise Association Day Camp, except for our newest locations, organizes a SunriseWALK as its primary peer-to-peer fundraising event. These WALKS play a pivotal role in capturing attention and raising essential funds, empowering our camps to offer their services entirely free of charge to the families they serve. To maximize visibility and support, we strategically promote these events across all available channels. I had the responsibility of creating and executing the social media campaigns for each WALK throughout the year. This resulted in an 8% conversion rate, which underscores the effectiveness of using social media to drive registration for an event.

September is a crucial time for organizations like Sunrise Association, dedicated to supporting children battling cancer and their families. I co-led the strategic planning and execution of an extensive, month-long social media campaign across all thirteen of our camp accounts for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month (CCAM). Our efforts were recognized with the prestigious 2022 Best of COCA Social Media Award, highlighting our unwavering commitment to pediatric cancer awareness. Additionally, the campaign significantly boosted our online community, with our total number of followers increasing by an impressive 10,000 individuals.
Winter Jam 2020 Tour
TCT Network: January - March 2020
At the start of 2020, TCT Network embarked on an exciting collaboration as TCT Today's Tom Nolan joined the Winter Jam 2020 Tour across the country. I was tasked with using Facebook Ads to boost engagement, targeting a ROI goal of 100%. Exceeding expectations, I achieved an impressive 150% ROI per ad!
42nd Anniversary Giveaway
TCT Network: May 2019
In celebration of TCT's 42nd Anniversary, I led a meticulously crafted month-long giveaway extravaganza. Each week, our viewers had multiple opportunities to win sets of TCT's cherished "Love Gifts." My role was pivotal throughout the campaign: drafting terms and conditions, selecting prizes, creating engaging copy across all platforms, meticulously tracking entries, selecting winners, and performing a comprehensive post-campaign analysis. This seamless blend of strategy and execution resulted in a 25% increase in interactions across different social media channels and provided invaluable insights for future campaigns.
Student Hiring Blitz
SIU Student Recreation Center: April 2018
At SIU, our Hiring Blitz for student workers was a vital event held multiple times a year. I spearheaded the social media campaigns for each Blitz to maximize student engagement. For the campaign in April 2018, I executed a multi-platform strategy across Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Through strategic planning and compelling content, our efforts proved highly effective, doubling application numbers and showcasing the success of mobilizing the student community.
Rocky Ledges 5K
SIU Student Recreation Center: November 2017 - May 2018
Each year, the Student Recreation Center proudly supports the esteemed Rocky Ledges 5K event. As early registration opens in November, I assumed leadership to orchestrate a comprehensive campaign to boost participation in the race. Harnessing multiple social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, our messaging resonated widely, urging runners to secure their spots in advance. This concerted effort not only increased registration numbers by 15% but also emphasized our dedication to fostering community engagement on a broader scale.
